It is the last quarter of the school year ‘18 -‘19. In this period, we studied about Photoshop, it was a bit complicated at first but after a while we got used to it. We developed confidence by reporting in front of our classmates which we will need in the future. We design a flyer which promotes our school, Ilocos Sur National High School. All in all, I learned a lot from the whole school year. It was not all fun — there were breakdowns too, countless of it. Our last year on Junior High School was unforgettable. We made a lot of memories— both good and bad. I will surely miss this — especially the SSC ‘18 -‘19.

My Dream My Future
Everyone of us surely has a goal in life. Wether they want to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league, people dream about their future. I have dreams for the future just like everyone else. My Dream is to study in Saint Louis University in Baguio. I’m gonna take up Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, that will be my pre-med course. I will study in SLU until I become a pediatrician. As a person who gets sick easily, I already know many doctor- because from time to time we try to find the best doctor who can cure me easily. They have different styles of curing their patients but they only have one goal: that is to make sure that their patients are healed. They fascinated me so much that I want to become like them too. I also want do to free medical sessions , be a part of a charity that prioritize children’s need and to visit the orphanages in the country. Over my life time I would like to achieve many things but there are three main things I would like to accomplish: to become a triumphant person, help my loving parents and to learn a lot from other people. I have big plans for my future. I plan to make something of myself, and not to give up. I have a major fear of failure, and I won't let it get to me.
117th High School Day Celebration
Last March 1 and 2 is the 117th High School Day Celebration of Ilocos Sur National High School. A parade was also done by the students and staff of our school. There was a coronation again. The teachers united and dance. Students from each grade level- from Grade 7 to Grade 12 showcased their talents in dancing. It was fun interacting with different students during the said celebration. Hopefully by the upcoming years, it would be more fun- booths and games should be added to the activities. Hoping that all enjoyed the high school day.

Change: Starts with Me
“All meaningful and lasting change starts on the inside and
works its way out.”They say that change is the only permanent things in this
world and that’s a fact. Every being is prone to change- be it for the better
or worse they can be. Change happens whether we like it or not and regardless
of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today. We
can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying to hold back
the water – useless. We have a choice to watch change passively happening
around us, or to participate and lead it.
Changes are taking place on all levels, from simple to
complex; whether the minuscule transformations of our brain cells to the
political crises unfolding around the world. Some changes we can manage, some
we can influence, but realistically, most are outside our control.
Statistically few of us will change the history of the world in a momentous
way. Individually we cannot eradicate war, poverty, greed and corruption. I
won’t invent a cure for cancer or solve the opiate crisis. But I can change
myself. And in changing myself I may have a greater, more positive impact on my
world – the one in which I actually live.
We can lead change and make our world a better place if we
start with ourselves. Learning to become a better spouse, parent,
businessperson, leader, salesperson, philanthropist, coach and volunteer will
enable me to contribute more to my family, my community, and my industry. By
inviting positive change into my life, by initiating change, I might be able to
positively influence others.

This year’s kannawidan is a blast- Regarding street dancing, you can really see the faces of the people who are dancing that they’re enjoying it. Many locals and even tourists watched. There’s an event every night that features local artists and bands like callalily, silent sanctuary, december avenue, Michael Pangilinan, Alex Gonzaga and many more! During this festival, Ilocos Sur’s rich culture is shown.
The local government of Ilocos Sur thought of this festival to encourage the younger generations to learn the indigenous songs and dances of the province.

New Year, New Me
We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. May the New Year usher in new hopes, dreams and aspirations for all of us. This year, may we change for the better. Regarding my studies, i will try to stop procrastinating and to always listen to discussions. In terms of my social life, I’d like to travel and create new memories and make new friends of different nations. Hobbies, I want to try new things that fits my interests. As a daughter, I’ll try to be a good one —again, to listen more to them and to fix my attitude too. As a sister, try to stop pestering my little sister and to be a big sister she can trust and depend on. As a citizen of this country, I’ll try to implement all the things I know to help our community. As a child of God, I want to be more close to Him and to listen to all His words and teachings. May we achieve all the things we want to do this year. Have a fruitful one!

Reflection; 3rd Quarter
Another grading period is about to end again. Third quarter was a tough one, lessons were harder than the past grading periods. The allotted time for this quarter was quite not enough for some subjects, so now we are trying to finish all the lessons within three days, because the periodical test is fast approaching again. Many of us are cramming again because we spent the Christmas break procrastinating, t'was hard to do the requirements because we were lazy and we'd rather spend our break with family and friends not with notebooks and books. We practiced for the upcoming speech choir, they were so many misunderstandings but we'd try to fix it immediately. We are currently stressed because of the exams and thesis we need to finish. I just hope that we can finish and pass all the requirements on time. Fighting maxwell!!!
